The Stories About Mine Us

(...) The Man is caused by the microscopic personalities that live in Him.
Any kind of experience: every spoken word, thought, and an encounter with another person mold our personality and according to that, everyone is everlastingly and continuously changing.
(…) However, according to Soares, nothing happens in us, in our inside, but everything comes from the outside (via our inside as a type of a “channel”). According to postmodernists, the subject is a void in which the speech of the “other” is inscribed. Being aware of it or not, inside of us are hidden different parts of the personality puzzle which we show and use depending on the situation. Someday, in one type of the psychic democracy, everybody will have to learn how to use these different personalities. (…) In fact, future “normal” man will have a lot of different personalities, because that will be the only way he will be able to channel multiplicity of reality and its excessive TV-presence which bombards us from everywhere. Reality will be too strong, overwhelming, too present, and too intensive to be alleviated only by one person – one will have to explode in order to catch up with the explosion of the reality.
(…) So, Self is a medium, process in which different powers and energies fight for supremacy. Self is a receiver of demonic ideas, feelings and words. Each sensation bombards you, each notion pierces you – you are punctured by what you hear, see and feel. All three gets free and lives its life. Pessoa says “I created in myself a few personalities. I constantly make personalities. Each my fantasy, just made up, materializes and is put in another personality which further dreams it instead of me”.

Priče o mojim nama
/HRV/
Maja Gjajić – Priče o mojim nama, 2018; cijanotipija; 400 x 21 cm (50 x 21 cm veličina pojedinog papira); pod mentorstvom doc. art. Vjerana Hrpke
